Technology

We understand that students need to be prepared to participate in a global society, using the latest technology to keep pace in an ever changing world. To ensure that students will receive the highest quality instruction our school has at least 2 computers in every classroom, two computer labs (one on a cart), Promethean boards and ActivSlates, and laptops for every teacher and support staff, teacher websites, and professional developments throughout the year to help enhance and maintain our knowledge of technology integration.

In addition, we have purchased several programs to help enhance student skills. These programs include: Pixie 2, Kidspiration, FAST Math, Go Solve, and many more.

Assistive Technology

Assistive Technology is a device and/or service that is determined by an IEP team to be necessary to provide a student with educationally relevant and necessary access to a Free and Appropriate Education in a least restrictive environment (LRE). Assistive technology services must be considered for any student receiving special education, IDEA, 1997.

We have several devices we use to help assist students and teachers in every way possible.
